INLAND EMPIRE, CA – Re-elected Board members Steve Elie, Jasmin A. Hall, and Paul Hofer were sworn in this month as Directors to the Inland Empire Utilities Agency’s (IEUA/Agency) Board.
Currently serving as IEUA’s Board President, Director Steve Elie has served on the IEUA Board since 2010 and will begin his fourth, four-year term in office representing Division 3 which includes the Cities of Chino, Chino Hills, and a portion of unincorporated County areas in the City of Chino’s sphere of influence. Director Elie is Chair for the Agency’s Community and Legislative Affairs Committee and a member of the Agency’s Audit Committee. He also serves as Chair of the National Water Research Institute, represents IEUA as an officer on the Southern California Water Coalition, and serves as IEUA’s representative on the Chino Basin Watermaster and the Chino Basin Water Bank.
“It is a great honor to be re-elected to serve on IEUA’s Board,” stated Board President Steve Elie. “I am eager to use my knowledge and prior experience throughout my fourth term as IEUA continues to excel as a world-class leader in water resource management and environmental stewardship.”
Director Jasmin A. Hall, who has served on the Board since 2013, will begin another four-year term in office representing Division 4 which includes a large portion of the City of Fontana, a portion of Rialto, and a portion of Bloomington (unincorporated territories in the Cities of Rialto’s and Fontana’s sphere of influence). In addition to her service on IEUA’s Board, Director Hall currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Sanitation Agencies and the Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority. She is the Agency’s representative to the Association of California Water Agencies.

Hall. “I look forward to ensuring the Agency continues to provide its essential services to meet current and future needs while staying true to its vision of enhancing and preserving the quality of life throughout the region.”
Director Paul Hofer, who has served on IEUA’s Board since 2016, represents Division 2 of the Agency’s service area which includes a large portion of the City of Ontario, a portion of the City of Fontana, and a large portion of unincorporated territories in the city of Fontana’s sphere of influence. Director Hofer serves as Vice President of the Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority, Chair of the Agency’s Finance and Administration and Audit Committees, and alternate representative for the Agricultural Pool of the Chino Basin Watermaster Board of Directors, where he previously served as representative from January 1998 to January 2022.
